9TH ANNUAL DAY OF THE DEAD FESTIVAL 

11/2 – FORT LAUDERDALE  4:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. This FREE Fort Lauderdale based event, named one of the “Top 10 Day of the Dead
Events” in North America by The USA Today, attracts legions of talented skull inspired artists, mariachi musicians, dancers and painted performers. Event Founder and Master Puppeteer, Jim Hammond stated, “Our mission is to produce asignature event for all ages that maintains and respects the cultural integrity of international Dia de los Muertos traditions. MOONLIGHT MOVIE IN THE PARK

Over 100 vendors showcasing their work. Along with a main stage with free live music. A large kids zone with actives and shows. Food vendors, Beer and wine tent.

 

HOLLYWOOD BEACH SWEEP CLEAN-UP

11/10 – HOLLYWOOD BEACH  Help keep Hollywood Beach beautiful by volunteering for the Hollywood Beach Sweep Clean-Up from 7:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Charnow Park, 300 Connecticut Street and the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Volunteers meet to collect litter and cigarette butts from the sandy beach. Volunteers are asked complete the registration form found on the City’s website under Beach Sweep. Children, ages 8 and older, are welcome to participate when accompanied by an adult. Gloves and garbage bags are provided to all volunteers along with safety instructions. Remember to dress appropriately, wear sunscreen and bring a completed registration form with you.

 

CAMELOT DAYS – MEDIEVAL FESTIVAL T.Y PARK

MODEL TRAIN RIDES

11/17 – 11/18  COCONUT CREEK Tradewinds Park (3600 W Sample Road, Coconut Creek, FL) Trains depart the station every few minutes from 10 A.M to 4 P.M. each day listed, except in case of rain or lightning. STORYBOOK FESTIVAL

GARDEN OF LIGHTS : A WINTER HOLIDAY EVENT AT MOUNTS

11/24 – 12/28 WEST PALM BEACH Mounts Botanical Garden (531 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach) From 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Mounts will be all a-twinkle in the evenings during the holiday season with thousands of holiday lights hanging from the trees, illuminating the walkways and landmark structures, with colorful LED trees and glowing light-balls, all along an easy-to-follow route throughout 15 different garden areas – the perfect way to light-up the holidays for joyous visitors of every age, romantic disposition, and spiritual leanings. 19TH ANNUAL DOWNTOWN DELRAY BEACH THANKSGIVING WEEKEND ART FESTIVAL

NIGHTS AT THE MUSEUM

11/30 – WEST PALM BEACH 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  at South Florida Science Center and Aquarium (4801 Dreher Trail North, West Palm Beach) Guests of all ages enjoy extended hours of exploration at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium. The Museum is a different theme, which includes various interactive science crafts, activities, entertainment, exhibits, planetarium shows, and a chance to view the night sky in Palm Beach County’s only public observatory.
